Wolverhampton Wanderers beat West Ham 3-1 on Tuesday to leave its English Premier League rival deep in relegation trouble.
Kevin Doyle put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute following a mistake by Hammers defender James Tomkins. Ronald Zubar made it 2-0 in the 58th with a diagonal shot into the bottom left corner and Matthew Jarvis put Wolves even further in front three minutes later with a 30-meter shot.
Guillermo Franco came off the bench to score for West Ham in injury time.
Wolves' biggest win of the season took their unbeaten streak to three matches and lifted them one place to 15th, four points ahead of West Ham with seven games to play.
The 17th-placed Hammers, who beat Wolves 2-0 on the opening day of the season back in August, have 28 points and are hovering just three above the three-team relegation zone.
Also on Tuesday, Newcastle edged closer to promotion from the second-tier League Championship with a 1-0 win at Doncaster.
