BEIJING, July 3 -- Sixty-two senior officials appointed by the State Council pledged loyalty to the constitution on Monday at a ceremony overseen by Premier Li Keqiang.
The officials were appointed between September 2024 and May 2024.

After the oath was taken, Li told the officials to perform their duties conscientiously and honestly.
Vice premiers Zhang Gaoli, Liu Yandong, Wang Yang and Ma Kai, State councilors Chang Wanquan and Wang Yong, as well as some leading officials of State Council departments, were present at the ceremony.
