体坛英语资讯:Hamburg,Wolfsburg victorious on Bundesliga Sunday
A late own goal from Bochum midfielder Andreas Johansson helped Hamburg to end a four-game winless streak while defending champion Wolfsburg defeated Nuremberg 2-0 at Bundesliga games on Sunday.
In an entertaining match Hamburg started self-confident. But, midtable team Bochum took over control and pressed Hamburg into defense.
Hamburg turned the tables with the first chance at the 18th minute. Midfielder Robert Tesche utilized a corner by defender Dennis Aogo to bring struggling Hamburg up front.
Bochum remained unaffected and stunned Hamburg only 14 minutes later with the leveller. Striker Zlatko Dedic hammered the ball from 20 meter into top left corner to equalize the score.
After the equalizer both teams acted riskless within the break.
As the match progressed the strength and concentration of both teams declined. In the dying minutes of the game Bochum midfielder Andreas Johansson deflected a pass by midfielder Ze Roberto to mark the winner for Hamburg from close range.
The victory lifts Hamburg to 6th position while Bochum sits on 15th position.
The other match on Sunday between new boys Nuremberg and Wolfsburg ended with a 2-0 victory for the “Wolves”.
Striker Edin Dzeko and striker Grafite wrapped the victory for the defending champion Wolfsburg during the second half.
Nuremberg remains on 14th position while Wolfsburg climbed from 9th to 8th position.
