体坛英语资讯:Chinese lifter Liao wins mens 69kg at worlds
Liao Hui of China claimed the gold medal in the men's 69kg category at the world weightlifting championships here on Sunday. Liao, who was crowned in 2008 Beijing Olympics, catch the gold medal with a total of 346kg. He also won the gold medals in the snatch with 160kg and in the clean and jerk with 186kg.
But the 22-year-old lifter was not satisfied with his performance.

He said the National Games, just concluded in late October, has consumed too much strength for him, and it was hard to him to lost the body weight for two times in less than one month.

Liao added he has not made full preparations for the competition, and neglected a lot of details. "Although I won the title, I will sum up the experiences so as to achieve more progress in the future," he said.
Liao is the 400th champion since the launch of the world weightlifting championships.
Mirzoyan Arakel of Armenia settled for the silver with a total of 334kg, and Triyatno of Indonesia had the bronze with a total of 330kg.
