体坛英语资讯:Aguero commits future to Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid's Argentinean striker Kun Aguero has promised that he has no intention of leaving, despite Atletico having a disappointing season in Spain. Atletico Madrid lost its last Primera Liga game 2-0 away to struggling Mallorca in a result that leaves the club five points behind fourth placed Villarreal and casts serious doubts over the chances of playing in next season's Champions League.
Aguero, who is still just 20-years old, is on the agenda of several big clubs and has even been linked to a summer move across town to Real Madrid or to Italian side Inter Milan.
Nevertheless, he insists he will not be leaving the Vicente Calderon stadium, whatever happens between now and the end of the season, his third with Atletico since joining from Independiente.
"The club has treated me very well and I have told the Directors that I want to remain at Atletico," Aguero said in an interview with TV station TyC Sports on Saturday.
The forward, who is married to the daughter of Argentina national team coach, Diego Maradona, also reflected on his increasing maturity since having recently become a father.
"I have changed a lot since my son was born and at the moment I am living in a very happy time," he insisted.
