The first step is to keep regular hours and stick to a healthy, balanced diet. This is the basis of good health. Our bodies need sufficient nutrition and rest in order to function well and resist illness. The second step is to get regular exercise. Moderate exercise, such as walking, can have great benefits for our health if done on a regular basis. Third, I suggest seeing a doctor for an annual checkup. A doctor can often diagnose problems before they become serious enough to be apparent to us. Last but not least, take time to relax and renew your spirits and mental energy every day. This is just as essential as physical exercise because mental state often has a profound influence on our physical health. As the saying goes, A sound mind in a sound body.
