Ben: Hi, Chris. We are planning to hold a party to celebrate Christmas at my home. Would you like to come?
本：你好，克丽丝。我们打算在我家开个晚会庆祝圣诞节。你想来吗?
Chris: I'd love to.
克丽丝：我很愿意来。
Ben: Which day would suit you?
本：哪一天对你合适?
Chris: Any day except Wednesday.
克丽丝：除星期三哪天都行。
Ben: How about Friday?
本：星期五怎样?
Chris: Friday would be fine. What time shall I come?
克丽丝：好的，星期五很好。我什么时候来?
Ben: Oh, about 6:30, will that be all right?
本：哦，6:30左右，这个时间行吗?
Chris: Yes, fo course. Thank you very much.

Simon: Look, we're having one or two people for dinner next Tuesday. We'd be glad if you would come.

Susan: Well, that's very kind of you, but I'm afraid I can't manage Tuesday. I've got something else.
苏珊：哦，你真好，但是很抱歉我星期二我来不了了。我还有些别的事。
Simon: Oh, what a pity. Maybe some other time?
西蒙：哦，真遗憾。换个时间也许行吧?
Susan: Yes, I'd love to come some other time. if it can be arranged.

Simon: I'll have a word with Jane and let you know.
